Jeram Besu or Besu Rapids in English is positioned in Sungai Lipis at approximately 6 kilometers before the town of Benta and about 2 and half an hour drive from Kuala Lumpur. Once considered as un-runnable, this rapid has now attracted a lot of white water enthusiasts for example, rafters, kayakers and canoeists from all over the country even as far as Singapore. Complemented by its easy accessibility the surrounding area has boomed from a nothing place to become a local youth center with facilities and several eating shops. Besu Rapids is fast gaining popularity as one of the most challenging white water-rafting areas in the country.

Beside white water rafting, canoeing, kayaking and jungle tracking, visitors can simply enjoy camping as there are camping areas provided. Other outdoor activities which allowed are abseiling, flying fox, as well as fishing.

Getting there
It is about 3 hours from Kuantan. Meanwhile,it will only take around 30 minutes from Kuala Lipis.
