Aquaria KLCC is located inside the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center building. Aquaria KLCC is based on the journey of water from the land to the sea.

With 19 tanks of aquarium, it is a home of 5,000 aquatic and over 150 different species of marine animals from Malaysia and around the world – some of them were caught, some sourced and some given. It is divided to two levels and covering over 5,500 sq m, making it the largest in the world, with various environments to keep and display fishes from various parts of the world.

The various shapes and sizes of sea creatures lived harmoniously in this simulated natural habitat and they can hide in the hidden shipwreck, colonized by inquisitive reef inhabitants.

Themed around two of the world's major rainforests which are Malaysia and the Amazon , Aquaria KLCC exhibits terrestrial, fresh water and marine creatures and it is also the first in Southeast Asia to exhibit the rare Sand Tiger Sharks from South Africa.

Visitors come here to learn more about the marine life and see what we have to offer especially the feeding times are extremely famous with the crowd. Sometimes, there are divers get into the tanks to feed the fishes and marine life, and visitors crowding around the tanks during that time.

The tunnel of the Aquaria KLCC is the best from the journey. On a moving walkway inside the 90m acrylic tunnel, a view only previously accessible to divers venturing into the depths of the brilliant ocean is presented. You can stop off at different spots anytime to view animals gliding and swimming. You will be awed by trained divers and aquarists’ hand-feeding the fish, including rays and large sharks. The 55mm-thick tunnel is curved, made to withstand an enormous amount of pressure from the 2.7 million liters of water that fills The Living Oceans aquarium.

Last but not least, there is also a souvenir and gifts shop where you can buy something in memory of Aquaria KLCC.
