Butterfly Park Kuala Lumpur is located near the Lake Garden in the city center of Kuala Lumpur. It is an artificial habitat for the butterflies which houses more than 6,000 butterflies from 120 exotic species. With a landscape that looks like the Malaysia tropical rain-forest atmosphere, it also includes 15,000 plants from 100 species.
The Butterfly Park Kuala Lumpur also has a beautiful landscape that is uniquely designed hydro-pond built with a limestone path right in the centre. Surrounding this hydro-pond is a gazebo, commanding a breathtaking view. The views from the gazebo are spectacular.
Butterflies fly around you and everywhere. They have placed some fruits, like pineapple. Sometimes the butterflies can also fly and rest on you.
On your way out you go through an informative insect museum, where you can also see some living animals. After the museum you come into a souvenir shop, where you can buy local handicrafts, frames butterflies and beetles.
