Muzium Islam (Islamic Museum) is a good place to study the existence of Islam in Kelantan. The building itself was built as a Chief Minister's house in 1902. A major renovation took place on 1917 and the building was later restored as an Islamic Museum in 1991.
The architectural principles of the building are famous in the east coast of the peninsular Malaysia known as 'Janda Berhias', with the pyramid look of its roof known as Bumbung Limas Bungkus.
