Bank Kerapu (War Museum) was built in 1912 by Mercantile Bank of India. During the occupation of Japan (1941 - 1945), this building was used by the Japanese army as their war coordination house and a police station. Upon the surrendered of the Japanese, the building was later transferred to the British and continued to function as a bank. In 1992, the Kelantan State Museum transformed the building to war memorial museum and remain the same until now.
