The impressive Terengganu State Museum was officiated by the late Sultan Mahmud Al-Mukhtafi Billah Shah, the sultan of Terengganu. Covering an area of 27 hectares, the complex has a total floor space of 75,075m. It consist t of 4 blocks of the Main Museum, a Maritime museum, 5 traditional houses and a landscaped area.

Flash back the arrival of Islam in Terengganu trough the historical artifacts that being exhibit such as copper, manuscript cloth, Chinese potteries and pictures of mausoleums of famous Terengganu religious figures. The Natural History Gallery consist of various kinds of natural resources ranging from minerals, rocks to many types of flora and fauna in the state and their importance in the daily life.
