Mount Batur is an active volcano located at the center of two concentric calderas north west of Mount Agung on the island of Bali, Indonesia. This caldera contains an active, 700-meter-tall stratovolcano rising above the surface of Lake Batur. The Batur area, the most popular and dramatic volcanic scenery in Bali. The walk to the top can take four to six hours, depending on the route and your level of fitness and the temperatures at the summit range from 5º-15º celsius, depending on the season, but can feel much colder in the wind and rain.
