Laksa is a spicy noodle soup popular in the Peranakan cuisine. Laksa consists of rice noodles or rice vermicelli with chicken, prawn or fish, served in spicy soup based on either rich and spicy curry coconut milk or on sour asam. 

Laksa Ikan Sekoq (laksa with one whole fish) is one of the famous laksa hawkers available in Langkawi. The rich spicy broth of fish together with the sea breeze and the loud of aircraft taking off and landing making your midday meal more exciting.
