It takes about an hour drive from the city of Kuala Lumpur and barely half an hour from Seremban to get to Jelita Ostrich Show Farm which is situated along Jelebu road. Rambling over 4.2 hectares site, Jelita Ostrich Show Farm has been granted by the Malaysia Book of Records as the first ostrich farm ever built in Malaysia. At the farm, visitors will be given a short brief about the ostrich industry by a staff and after that visitors will be taken to ostrich breeding pen in where a demonstration on how a proper way to pick up ostrich eggs will be shown. Visitors also will be allowed to ride on ostriches and they are given permit qualifying them to be an ostrich jockeys. Yet, the main attraction in this farm is that visitors can participate in ostrich race and the chariot ride as an ostrich can achieve a speed of up to 70kph.

Other attractions at the farm include, the “man against egg’’ challenge where a person will stands on an ostrich egg in an attempt to break it. Visitors can try to feed ostriches as well as other animals including turkeys, rabbits and horses in this delightful farm. Plus, there is also a souvenir store, a stall serving ostrich satay and ostrich essence with ginseng.
